If, during the first 10 years of use, the ProTech Shield should break from regular type gym use such as balls hitting it, just send photos of the damaged shield with an explanation of the cause of the damage and we will send you a free replacement shield. If the shield was improperly installed and not fully secured by the stand-offs the warranty is void. Please understand that the ProTech Shield is not meant to be hung on, pulled on, hit with hard objects such as a baseball or golf ball and the like. 

Since the shield is acrylic plastic, it is prone to scratches. This warranty does not replace for scratches.
